Aside from the fact that they are generally badly written, it's really tough to pull off the second person POV consistently.

As far as i'm concerned, that should strictly be used only in choose your own adventure novels.

Ha! Choose your own adventure novels were what I also thought of as the one place where I'd expect and enjoy 'reader' pov. (I collected a bunch of them as a teenager, and then cheated shamelessly to not die or get an unhappy ending.)
